Instructions for setting up email in Outlook Express:

Open Outlook Express
First choose Tools, then Accounts

When the Internet Accounts Dialoge box opens, click on the Mail tab, then click Add, then Mail

Type in a Display name, then choose next.

Enter your email address, then choose next.

Choose an incoming mail server type. (Usually Pop3) Put your server address for incoming and outgoing mail. This is usually mail then a period "." then your web name including the "dot com", then choose next. If this doesn't work later, you might have to come back and change the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server to your ISP's outgoing mail server.

Enter the user name and password given by your email provider, then choose next

Click on Finish

NOW there are 2 more settings you have to change.....do the steps below. At this time, you are this screen. HIGHLIGHT your account (mail.YourWebsite) Account, and click on PROPERTIES button....see below...

Click on the check box "My server requires authentication". See below...

The last thing you need to do is click on the ADVANCED tab (on the above screen) and when you do, you will see the screen below....

Change the OUTGOING PORT NUMBER from '25' to '1025'. Then click APPLY, then OK, then CLOSE.

Your Account is now set up...
